Firstly I would like to thank you all for your support this season as we near completion. It has been a contrasting season for both teams, but at last the Wanderers finished the season on a high, beating Dunmow United Vikings 2- 1 in front of their biggest following of the season.


We have 2 League games left for the Warriors, This Sunday we face Great Notley Gunners in the league and on 31st May we face Great Dunmow away. A good solid season for the Warriors with 3rd place achieved and promotion to the 1st Division.


Pre Season Matches:


We have scheduled friendly games in which we will be shuffling all the boys around, using these games to experiment different ideas.
For me these games are not about results but performances as we will selecting the sides in July/August.
May I remind you that we will be mixing the boys around and please do not worry if your boy is playing with a different group of players for a series of matches.
This does not mean they will be playing in those teams next season.


During the close season we are looking for the boys to enjoy themselves, but also prove to us their commitment, ability and attitude at matches and in training.
I have arranged a number of games of varying difficulty throughout the summer including 2 tournaments.


Please can you inform me ASAP if your child is unable for selection for any of these games.



Presentation Evening:


Tickets are selling well for this event with nearly 90 tickets being sold.
We have only 30 left so if you need any more tickets, please let us know as soon as possible.
Tony and myself have been contacting local companies to sponsor this event and so far we have had a fantastic response from local businesses, raising over £ 120.00 to date. If you know anyone or company that would like to sponsor this event and get an advert in our programme for either our presentation evening for any amount, please contact our club treasurer Tony Grisedale at tonygrisedale@hotmail.co.uk.

Our AGM is to be held at the Oaklands Hotel on Wednesday 27th May 2008 at the Oaklands Hotel, starting at 8.00pm.
