Charity Game Coming to Meadowbank:
Meadowbank park will be hosting a charity football Match in the next couple of weeks as a C.J.Firminger Building and Landscaping team will take on a Meadowcroft Nurseries team with all proceeds for the match going to a nominated charity and funds for our club. The game will be a midweek game and everyone is welcome to come along. Details of the game will appear on our website.
FA Course / Child Protection Updates:
Andy Franklin is currently attending his referees course and will complete it this weekend.
Tony Grisedale is currently taking his FA Level 1 coaching badge at Colchester United’s Shrub end Community Centre.
Brad Harrop is booked in to attend his FA Level 1 coaching course in late June.
Dave Rean, Scott Jones, Brad Harrop, Andy Franklin, Rob Jones, Tony Grisedale have all completed their relevant CRB child protection checks and are now all CRB registered.
Tournament 25th July 2009:
Ray Chettur has completed all the registration packs for us and invited teams have received their invites. We will be holding a tournament meeting on Thursday 7th May 2009 at the Oaklands Hotel 8.00 – 9.30 pm.
Letters have now been handed out to parents regarding helping out on the day and if you can help out please can you contact Chris ASAP. We need your help to make this day a success.
Pitch Update:
We have now installed our new mini soccer pitch at Meadowbank Park , preparing for our younger members to compete in a league in the future.
Meadowbank Park has stepped in to help out Valley Green Eagles play their fixture against Focus Ferrers Terriers. Valley Green have been unable to play their home fixture due to the cricket season starting and the league contacted us for help in hosting this fixture. The game is scheduled to take place on 10th May 2009 at 10.00am.
Kit Enquiries:
If you have any enquiries regarding kits and equipment please contact Brad Harrop. Brad will now be organising all new kits and replacement kits and equipment. If something is too small/ too big or needs repairing please let us know.
